THE SIAM COLLECTION

Our founder, Steph, spent part of her undergraduate degree studying in Thailand. The trip made her realise a lot about herself and what she wanted Stephanie Jade to be, so it was only right the first collection was inspired by it. Each design takes influence from a different place she went to in Thailand as she wanted to show off the individual beauty in each shoe.

Tansanee

Steph lived in Bangkok as this is where her university was located. The capital is an interesting city that has beautiful architecture, one that is unique in design and showcases the cultural richness of the country.

Temples are gilded in gold, structures filled with beautiful patterns and shiny gems surround royal buildings. Steph wanted to translate this into a heel that would act as a showstopper for any occasion.

It is made from a champagne gold satin as Steph believes this shade is complimentary to any skin complexion. The rhinestone details on the heel, ankle and toe strap represent the gorgeous embellishments found on the temples. The symmetrical architecture was a point of interest for Steph, illustrated through the double straps on the toe and ankle.

Sandara

This shoe was inspired by Steph’s time in the islands, more specifically Koh Samui. Imagine yourself on the beach, watching the sun go down as the day turns to night. The sky transitioning from pink to orange was a breath-taking view, capturing the attention of many.

The heel is made from a luxurious satin that replicates the colours of the sunset, gradually moving from a bright pink to a tangerine orange. The island was filled with gorgeous performers whose outfits consisted of sparkly embellishments, so the straps are adorned with rhinestones.

The combination of the sunset colours with the glamour from the performers is the perfect blend of what she experienced on this stunning island.

Ara

A solo trip to Kanchanaburi, an area that is surrounded by greenery, was the inspiration behind the last shoe in this collection. Home to the infamous Erawan falls, the Ara heel is an ode to the gorgeous natural environment on the outskirts of the capital.

The shoe is made of a silky emerald satin, one that sparkles in the light. The unique scalloped straps were inspired by the unusual plants that were seen in this calming location. The luscious gold rhinestones were the perfect way to tie this collection together, highlighting the charm that Thailand brings to whoever visits.
